About Us

AdventCare was established in Whitehorse, Victoria, 1949 making it the first Adventist village in Australia. From that early beginning, over sixty-nine years ago AdventCare has remained committed to providing quality accommodation and care services for the elderly who can no longer live at home.

AdventCare is a not-for-profit outreach of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, solely based in Victoria, Australia – today our services extend to surrounding areas of Bendigo, Whitehorse and Yarra Ranges.  Our vibrant retirement living communities and aged care residences embrace Christian values and serve the wider community regardless of race, culture or religion. We continually strive to improve our services and upgrade facilities to ensure our residents receive the best quality of care whilst meeting changing needs of the industry.

We recognise that making the decision to live in an aged care residence or retirement community is not an easy one. Our focus is providing emotional support to residents and their families upon admission and on a day-to-day basis. You can rest assured you or your loved one are in the best of hands with our team of nursing staff, personal carers and services support staff who genuinely care.

We believe that ongoing development, reinvestment and innovation paves the way to meeting the needs and desires of AdventCare residents well into the future. Facilities that provide spacial and practical living environments with a mix of social and recreational activities, enable residents to feel connected with other like-minded people in their community.
